Antonio Gates changing with the times - Michael Gehlken (UT$)
"Obviously, guys learn from me because I’ve been around, but I’ve learned a lot from the younger generation in terms of little simple things," Gates said Wednesday. "You’re never too old to learn. When I go places, people look at me like, ‘Dang, you’re 35 years old.’ I’m like, ‘Well, the guys I’m around are 22, 23, 24, so they make me feel young.’ I think that’s helped me the past couple of years."

A spring forward for Chargers secondary - Tom Krasovic (UT$)
"It’s just one phase. We’ve got to continue what we’ve built," said Lowery, who intercepted four passes for the Colts last season. "We’ve got to maintain our conditioning, our confidence, and look to improve while we have this little bit of time off and come back in training camp and put the pads on, and really play football, and just carry it into the season."

Will Ben Gardner Blossom on the Bolts? - Ricky Henne
"I’d been thinking about this a lot," he said.  "I came in midseason and didn’t really have a chance to get involved in the defense in any way, shape or form while on the practice squad.  It was all new for me this year.  It was kind of like a rookie year again in this system.  But having been here, I was comfortable with the guys in the building and the coaches.  I think that has helped me."
