BFTB After Dark: June 15, 2016

Yesterday, we talked local beers. Today, we ask your favorite whisk(e)y. Feel free to specify favorites across different types of whiskey or just list your overall favorite.

For me:

Bourbon: Pappy Van Winkle, 23 year (though among things I can actually buy in a store, my favorite is Woodford Reserve Double Oaked or if it's been a long week Wild Turkey 101)

Rye Whiskey: Whistlepig, though Bulleit is also standard thanks to the low price

Scotch Whisky: Lagavulin, Distiller's Edition (thanks to John Gennaro)

Irish Whiskey: Jameson (I'm a simple man when it comes to Irish whiskey)

American Whiskey or Canadian Whisky: I honestly don't have a favorite and am open to suggestions
