Last week, we asked, "if the Chargers could only retain one of their pending free agents, who should it be?" For the second week in a row, the result of our poll question was a huge majority of you selecting Keenan Allen. This time, 75% of the 2345 voters said that Allen was the most important pending free agent to extend.
The next highest vote totals went to outside linebacker Melvin Ingram (14%) and Danny Woodhead (9%). Another 46 voters clearly misunderstood the question with 34 saying Manti Te'o, seven leaning Jahleel Addae, 2 pulling the lever for Steve Williams, and another three opting for "Other."
It seems that Tom Telesco agreed with 1764 people that voted Keena Allen, though, because he signed the young star receiver to a four-year extension last night.
Thanks to everyone who voted in the poll.
