The San Diego Chargers have brought the back half of their draft into the fold officially today. Chargers.com are reporting that they've signed all of their Day 3 draft picks. Ohio State inside linebacker Joshua Perry, Akron outside linebacker Jatavis Brown, Texas A&M punter Drew Kaser, Wisconsin fullback Derek Watt and Michigan State offensive guard Donavon Clark all signed their four-year rookie contracts this afternoon.
We're still awaiting the signings of Joey Bosa, Hunter Henry, and Max Tuerk. All three will likely be signed soon as well (and Bosa's contract will come with a fifth year option thanks to his status as a first-round pick). Thanks to the rookie wage scale, the days of Summer-long holdouts are long behind us, and the Chargers' entire rookie class should be practicing with the team sooner than later.
We've signed five members of our 2016 NFL Draft class.
