Every year prior to rookie minicamp, teams offer a handful of undrafted free agents tryouts in order to have enough players to actually hold a rookie minicamp. Occasionally, some of those players are actually signed. Michael Gehlken of the San Diego Union-Tribune reports that guard Vi Teofilo out of Arizona State is one of those players:
A tryout gone well: Chargers have signed former Arizona State guard Vi Teofilo following three-day rookie minicamp, source says.

You may remember Teofilo's name after the reports of his Pro Day where he put up 43 reps of the bench press.
A three-year starter at Arizona State, Teofilo profiles as a potential backup in the NFL. Few teams or fan bases know just how valuable depth on the interior of the offensive line is the way the Chargers and their fans do. His athleticism isn't particularly remarkable, but scouts say favorable things about his hand use and initial burst. Teofilo could help his case of making a roster if he can also play some center.
