The King is dead, long live The King!

It's the beginning of a new era at Bolts from the Blue, starting with the end of the old era.

Hello, friends! I have some news.

It’s with a heavy heart but a huge sense of relief that I’ve decided to step down as the Managing Editor of BFTB.

There’s a million little reasons that have led me to this, but there’s really only one big one. More opportunities on-air on The Mighty 1090 and more work piled on my desk and wedding planning means I just don’t have time to put into the blog what it deserves.

If you do have the time and the drive and the talent to put into Bolts from the Blue what the blog and the community deserves, you will be given the opportunity to apply to try and fill my shoes soon (likely this weekend).

The plan going forward is not for me to leave. It’s for me to stick around in a contributor role, which means I'll still be writing (but less often). I am hoping to find a way to help whoever eventually takes over.

It's been a pretty wild eight years (!) for me as the Managing Editor of BFTB, and I look forward to seeing how this community can continue to grow in the future.

Oh, also, I’m still in charge until a replacement has been found and crowned. Don't mourn me yet.
