Chargers 2016 preseason schedule: Titans, Cardinals, Vikings, 49ers

The NFL has released the 2016 Preseason schedules for each team.

For everyone getting sick of hot draft takes and stadium news, the league released the 2016 preseason schedules today and it looks like the league has decided to mix things up a little for the Chargers.

The team will start off the preseason on the road, for the first time since 2005, taking offensive coordinator Ken Whisenhunt back to Tennessee to take on the Titans, the team he coached last year. The Chargers then host the Arizona Cardinals, travel to Minnesota to play the Vikings, and finish things off hosting the San Francisco 49ers.

So no Seattle Seahawks for the first time since 2012, and their first time playing another AFC team in the preseason since a game against the Indianapolis Colts all the way back in 2004.

The Chargers will also get a fresh look at what an ultra modern stadium in the NFL looks like, as their game on August 28th at the Vikings will be the first game ever played in the Vikings brand new stadium.
