Chargers select Donavon Clark in the 7th Round

With their seventh round pick the Chargers choose G Donavon Clark.

Jerome Miron-USA TODAY Sports

The Chargers wrap up the draft and select the Michigan St. OG Donavon Clark in the 7th round. They went and grabbed their second Interior Offensive Lineman in the draft with Tuerk and now Clark.

Here is a good PFF stat:

With the Chargers grabbing depth at Offensive Line in Donavon Clark and also drafting (probably) starting Center Max Tuerk in the 3rd Round that means Smith will battle Kenny Wiggins for a roster spot and may be the end of days for C/G Trevor Robinson. The interior of the Chargers Offense Line was horrible last year and they did everything they could to help fix that problem with the additions of both Max Tuerk and now 7th Round pick Donavon Clark.

Here's how the Chargers 7 Rounds unfolded:

1st Round: DE Joey Bosa
2nd Round: TE Hunter Henry
3rd Round: C Max Tuerk
4th Round: LB Joshua Perry
5th Round: LB Jatavis Brown
6th Round: P Drew Kaser
6th Round: FB Derek Watt
7th Round: OG Donavon Clark
