My guess: We'll reach the end of the regular season without knowing the final fate of either franchise. So, much as in 2015, those games would be billed as "possible final appearances" right up to the final whistle.

Chargers Dog Draft -
In honor of the upcoming NFL Draft, the San Diego Chargers will partner with a local rescue to host the first-ever Chargers Dog Draft presented by Petco. The Chargers Dog Draft presented by Petco will take place on April 30th at 9 am at Qualcomm Stadium section O-1. The Dog Draft (adoption) will be administered by Second Chance Dog Rescue of San Diego, Calif. This event will be free and open to the public.

That is as true as ever this year, with the Chargers coming off an uncharacteristically horrid season and with hopes their high picks in the draft’s early rounds will drastically improve their defense.
