San Diego Chargers 2016 Regular Season Schedule Released

The 2016 NFL regular-season schedules have been released, which means it's time to scour over the San Diego Chargers schedule to see how the league is attempting to screw them. (Kidding....)

The Schedules have finally been released for the 2016 NFL Season. Lets take a look at the schedule then analyze what it all means.

The Chargers, after a season that earned them the 3rd overall pick in the draft, have been dropped down to only 1 scheduled primetime game, a Thursday night home game against the Denver Broncos.

The team also has their latest bye week since 2001, week 11. This late bye week would be a nightmare if the team starts the year out with the same injury situation they had last year.

Also in contrast to last season, the Chargers will have 2/3rds of their division games out of the way in the first half of the season, including both games against the Denver Broncos, who won the division last season.

The Chargers only have 4 visits to the Eastern time zone, Cleveland Browns, Atlanta Falcons, and a trip to the Carolina Panthers, and the same number of games with an early start, which is good news. Only 2 of those games, Cleveland and Carolina, would be considered "Cold Weather."

All in all, not bad at all.
