Riddick's favorite players in the 2016 NFL draft - Louis Riddick (insider)
There are great athletes, and then there are great football players. Jack is both -- simple as that. There is nothing this young man can't do on the football field. He can play the Mike, Sam or Will position as a linebacker in a 4-3 defense, and he can play inside or outside LB in a 3-4 defense. He can also line up as nickel defender against wide receivers and cover them better than many defensive backs in college or pro football.

TE Sean McGrath could earn role in Chargers' offense - Eric Williams
“He showed a lot of promise in practice,” Chargers general manager Tom Telesco said. “With Kansas City, he had a really nice year a couple years ago. He’s got good size. He’ll block. He’s got really good hands, and he practiced and looked really good in practice with us. So I’m excited to see if he can kind of build on that for us this year. We’ll find out in training camp.”

Top prospect Laremy Tunsil visits Chargers - Michael Gehlken (UT$)
He trained here in advance of the NFL Scouting Combine in February, working out at the EXOS facility in Carlsbad. He could be the off the board as early as No. 1 overall to the Titans, a team he's scheduled to visit later this week.

Telesco, McCoy on Impact of New Rule Changes - Ricky Henne
“This is something we are going to have to look at,” McCoy continued.  “We are excited about Josh (Lambo’s) ability to get a touchback, but then again, depending on coverage units and the game situation, there may be a different strategy going forward in some games.  That is something we are going to have to look at leading up to the first game of the season.”
