Jahleel Addae and Jimmy Wilson moved according to what their captain said. Te’o didn’t hear Weddle the first or second or third time that Weddle yelled to him, so Weddle ran up, grabbed Te’o, and repeated himself. Te’o pointed to acknowledge that he understood.

Chargers development partner John Moores, a former owner of the Padres, is no stranger to legal challenges to funding measures for sports palaces. And he's no stranger to winning those duels. He batted 1.000 versus litigants opposed to the construction of Petco Park.

Add to that the fact that the Chargers are coming off a disappointing 4-12 campaign, have one of the worst stadiums situations in the league with a coach on a short leash in Mike McCoy and do not know where they will play in 2016, and you begin to understand why San Diego might not be on the short list of a potential free-agent prospect.
