PODCAST: Inside the San Diego Chargers' stadium financial meeting

Ben Higgins joins John Gennaro to talk about being summoned to Chargers Park by the San Diego Chargers to be shown an early copy of the team's citizen's initiative plan.

In case you missed the message over the weekend, I've started to do a daily morning podcast focused on San Diego sports. It's called Generally Speaking (and not Gennaro-ly Speaking, sorry).

After watching Ben Higgins break open the stadium news last night on Twitter, I thought a good use of the show this morning would be to call up Mr. Higgins and ask him how the meeting with the San Diego Chargers meant, what he learned about their stadium plan, and if he would vote for this plan now that he has all of the details.

If you're a regular listener of the Squadcast, you'll get this episode as well and will undoubtedly recognize the normal banter between myself and Ben. If you're not, enjoy!

Here's a link to the episode itself.

If you want to subscribe on iTunes, here are the links for the Squadcast and Generally Speaking.

Thanks for listening!
