San Diego Chargers should target Joey Bosa in NFL Draft - Luis Tirado Jr
Bosa would bring some much-needed aggression and a very impressive resume to the Chargers’ defense. In his collegiate career at Ohio State, Bosa totaled 148 tackles, 26.0 sacks and five forced fumbles. He has a high football IQ, speed and an incredible ability to either rush or take down opposing quarterbacks. He also has great character attributes that could make him a future captain on the Chargers.
If Browns don’t take QB at No. 2 the rest of the Top 10 will ripple - Bob Harkins
The Chargers have a need at safety with Eric Weddle gone, and will be unhappy to see Ramsey gone. They also have a need at defensive line, though, so they figure to snap up either Ohio State’s Joey Bosa or Oregon’s DeForest Buckner here.
Chamber of Commerce warms to downtown 'convadium' - Andrew Bowen
After the presentation, the chamber released a statement saying members had "voted in support of evaluating a plan for a non-contiguous expansion and a multi-use sports complex ... while also maintaining support of contiguous expansion."
Build a Chargers stadium with a majority vote? Not so fast. - Jon Coupal (UT$)
The two-thirds vote is important because taxation is government’s most draconian power and as a prerequisite to its exercise the constitution requires a higher degree of consensus. Constitutionally imposed two-thirds vote requirements are common. The United States Constitution, for example, mandates supermajority votes in a dozen instances.
Is It Time For the Chargers to Replace Philip Rivers? - Derek Togerson
The Chargers are getting younger at most of the other positions on the field, might as well have them all do it at once so continue the youth movement at quarterback and REALLY look to the future.
