PODCAST: Should the San Diego Chargers trade down in the 1st Round?

Ben Higgins and John Gennaro discuss the San Diego Chargers’ free agent signings, the downtown stadium situation, and debate on whether or not GM Tom Telesco should trade down from the 3rd pick to get more first round selections in the 2016 NFL Draft.

It has been a little while since I've had a chance to chat with Ben Higgins about the San Diego Chargers, so we had plenty to talk about on today's episode of the Squadcast (and not a lot of time).

We caught up on the team's free agent moves (and why I like the Brandon Mebane signing only if John Pagano understands what he is and what he isn't), talked about the leaked downtown NFL stadium financials, and finally debated on whether it would be better for Tom Telesco to hold on to the #3 overall pick or trade down a few spots to pick up extra early-round picks.

Any follow-up questions or criticisms (yes, we've already figured out that I mixed up Gus Bradley with Dan Quinn), feel free to tweet me @johnmgennaro or Ben @BenHigginsSD.
