San Diego Chargers re-sign OT Chris Hairston, adjust NFL Draft plans

The San Diego Chargers will not be using the #3 overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft on an Offensive Tackle, despite speculation, after bringing back the same group from last year.

I'm not entirely sure that Tom Telesco meant it went he said that the team needed to re-work their offensive line. After re-signing Joe Barksdale and Chris Hairston, and signing King Dunlap to a restructured contract, the team is set to go into 2016 with the same group of starting Tackles and Guards as they had in 2015. The team has now even retained their swing tackle, which removes the possibility of Dunlap being demoted to that spot.

The Chargers won't be using their #3 pick on a Center, either, because there's nobody worth a pick that high.

This leads me to think that the team is zeroing in on Jalen Ramsey from Florida State, who would immediately take over the starting Strong Safety spot from Jahleel Addae. That's also the outcome I'm rooting for the most, so maybe I'm a little biased in that assumption.

Then again, the Chargers could shock the world and.....

NOOOOOO!!!!

(Don't worry. It's Liar's Month. Let's just assume Ramsey is the pick until we know differently.)
