It's easy to get sucked into "Yay, the Chargers are trying to stay in San Diego" mentality. Deadspin is here to remind everyone that, even if the Chargers stay in San Diego, people locally should still be pretty pissed at the deal that Dean Spanos is trying to strike.
They're not exactly wrong in thinking that Spanos has about 650 million reasons to stay in San Diego over Los Angeles, and that fact should probably lead to him kicking in more than $200 million towards the construction of a new stadium, but fear is the best motivator and I think everyone south of Camp Pendleton is happier to not have to worry about NFL-less Sundays in the county than they are upset with Spanos.
