As with every season, the Chargers will face their three division rivals, the Denver Broncos, Oakland Raiders, and Kansas City Chiefs both home and away.
In their non-divisional games, the Chargers will face the NFC East and AFC East with their remaining two games rounded out by facing the other last-place teams from the AFC, the Cleveland Browns (at home) and the Jacksonville Jaguars (on the road).
The Chargers will travel to take on the New York Giants, New York Jets, New England Patriots, and Dallas Cowboys. And they will play host to the Philadelphia Eagles, Washington Redskins, Miami Dolphins, and Buffalo Bills.
Now, it’s still December and all of those teams will look quite a bit different by the time training camp rolls around, but at first glance, it’s certainly easier to pick out 10 losses than it is to pick out 10 wins. Both the AFC and NFC East are likely to be tougher than the AFC and NFC South were this season. And on top of that, the Chargers will likely have to travel more next season, though it still remains to be seen where they will even call home.
