The San Diego Chargers lost an important divisional game to the Denver Broncos last week, and this week they'll face an AFC South opponent in the Tennessee Titans. This represents a "winnable" game that the Chargers, quite simply, must have. With only three wins and already five losses, San Diego is in danger of losing any realistic chance of turning their season around and making a run at the playoffs. The Oakland Raiders are currently tied with the Broncos for the division lead at 6-2 and they play each other this evening on Sunday Night Football, so the division leader at the end of today would have a four-game lead on the Chargers if they can't beat the Titans this afternoon.
In a best case scenario, the Chargers will be three games back with seven games left to play, and that's already bad odds, so this game is as must-win as a non-elimination game can be. Can the do it?
