Chargers vs Texans: Inactives report

New, comments

Denzel Perryman is back, but he'll be without his partner in crime Jatavis Brown for at least another week.

The Chargers are coming fresh off their bye week, which means that there are a few healthy scratches on their inactives list for the first time in a while.

Ronnie Hillman and Geremy Davis - both newcomers to the team - will have to wait at least another week for their debuts. That leaves Kenneth Farrow as the only backup to Melvin Gordon at RB once more, but the Chargers are deep at WR, with Tyrell Williams, Travis Benjamin, Dontrelle Inman, Jeremy Butler and Isaiah Burse all ready to suit up for the Bolts. That's good news for the Chargers, as both Travis Benjamin and Jeremy Butler were listed as 'questionable' going into today.

Brandon Flowers and Jatavis Brown are both inactive, but that's no surprise - in fact, both had already been listed as 'Out' before today, with neither having practised all week. The same is true for Asante Cleveland.

One notable name missing from that list is Jahleel Addae. The Chargers safety has now fully recovered from the clavicle injury that kept him out since Week 2, and he'll likely slot straight back into the starting lineup next to Dwight Lowery.
