Say it with me: The “Last Place” San Diego Chargers

The San Diego Chargers are the west coast version of the Cleveland Browns, but maybe even worse?

In case you were wondering where I’ve been: I haven’t put out a podcast in two weeks because The Mighty 1090’s podcast studio was being repaired. It’s working now, which means more regular posts from me promoting my podcasts!

Today’s is short and mostly centered around the San Diego Chargers. It’s actually mostly centered around this statistic:

The last time the Chargers were not in last place in the AFC West was October 25th, 2015.

The next time the Chargers seemingly have an opportunity to not be in last place in the AFC West will be around September 10th, 2017.

That, is a long time to be in last place. So, I think we should start referring to them as “the last place Chargers” as much as humanly possible until they find a way to get out of last place. Otherwise, it’ll just be another year of Mike McCoy and misery.
