It's a rematch of Super Bowl XLIX and possibly a preview of Super Bowl LI depending on who you ask. The New England Patriots are 7-1 and fifth in the NFL in DVOA. The Seattle Seahawks are 5-2-1 and third in the league by DVOA. Tom Brady is one of the favorites to be the league's most valuable player and Russell Wilson remains one of the best young quarterbacks in the NFL.
Both teams are coached by some of the best and most well-respected head coaches. The Seahawks are traveling to New England on a short week after their defeat of the Buffalo Bills on Monday night. The Patriots are heavy favorites giving up over a touchdown at every book I've seen. If you believe the odds, this game is significantly less likely to be interesting than the names and narratives involved. That said, this is one of the games you've probably been looking forward to and there's always a chance that it could pay off.
