VIDEO: Convincing Dean Spanos to sell the Chargers

On this week’s episode of Bolts On Tap, I did what any self-medicating fan of the San Diego Chargers does after a loss of this magnitude. I drank beer on live television.

Ben and I discussed all the things that the team did wrong, and the few things that they did right, in their epic loss to the New Orleans Saints. In the end, we decided to put the blame for the loss at the feet of everybody.

It’s the fault of the players, who take their cues from the coaching staff, who take their cues from Mike McCoy, who takes his cues from the front office, who take their cues from the Spanos family that owns the team.

One very smart viewer wrote in and asked the two of us to try to convince the Spanos family to sell the team off, which sounds crazy but is surprisingly easy to do.
