Denzel Perryman is NFL Clutch Performer of the week

Denzel Perryman has been voted as the NFL Clutch Performer of the week

Amid strong competition, including the Giant’s Landon Collins who intercepted two passes and returned one for a touchdown, Matthew Stafford (Lions) who threw a game-winning TD pass, Andrew Luck who threw a late go-ahead TD pass, Jay Ajayi who racked up 214 yards on the ground and 1 TD, Denzel Perryman was able to win this week’s clutch performer award.

Denzel Perryman made two of the arguably most pivotal plays for the Chargers this season last game, with an interception to set up the Chargers tying field goal, and with a stuff on 4th and 1 in overtime, to set the Chargers up for the game-winning field goal.

Denzel Perryman has been battling an injury for the last few weeks, and is questionable for Sunday’s game against the Broncos, as he was a limited participant in practice all week. Let’s hope this game changer can suit up on Sunday, because the Chargers will need every available man to step up to beat the underrated Broncos for the 2nd time this year.
