After a relatively injury free week 6, the Chargers have had another injury in the 1st quarter here in week 7. Caraun Reid has been carted off the field with a lower leg injury to his left leg.
Reid was hustling down field after a short completion and Denzel Perryman came flying over the pile and caught Reid right below the knee just as he had planted his left leg. Reid was pounding the cart with anger as they drove him off. Hopefully this one looked worse than it is, but with the Chargers’ injury luck this season, we may have seen the last of Reid this year.
Which is a real shame. Reid has been an outstanding pickup for the team this year. He came in and very quickly passed almost everyone on the depth chart at DE and had been making a real impact this season. Prayers to the big man.
