Can the San Diego Chargers make the playoffs?

I don’t want too crazy, but I do enjoy actually being positive about the San Diego Chargers when the opportunity presents itself and I believe that opportunity is now.

That’s why, today on Bolts On Tap, Ben Higgins and I discussed the very real possibility of the 2016 Chargers finishing with 9 (or 10! or 11!) wins and sneaking into the NFL Playoffs.

I do, honestly, believe that this is possible. What stands in the team’s way is poor coaching and poor luck, but if the 2007 Chargers can win 7 of their last 8....why can’t they do it in 2016? It’s not as though the team’s coaching or luck has gotten significantly worse since that time.
