Open Thread: NFL Championship Sunday

Chat about today's AFC and NFC Championship games here.

Ron Chenoy-USA TODAY Sports

I know that most of us are tired of the NFL, tired of the stadium nonsense, and worn down by a 4-12 San Diego Chargers season.

I also know that fatigue has it's limitations, and I'm about ready to dive back into the NFL with both feet today and for the Super Bowl. Especially because each of these teams has some sort of ties to the Chargers.

Whether it be a divisional opponent (Broncos), a chief rival (Patriots), a team head coached by a guy who was an early candidate to take the Chargers' job in 2013 (Cardinals), or a team head coached by a guy who was with the Chargers just a few years ago (Panthers), there's plenty of reasons to pick and side and root for a team or teams today.
