Here we are. Heading into the final week of the NFL season already. It does literally feel like just last week that the Chargers came from behind to defeat the Detroit Lions. A lot has changed in the time since that thrilling opening game, and nearly all of it has been for the worst for us Chargers fans.

We're prepared to say a lot of goodbyes this year: Malcom Floyd, Eric Weddle, maybe Antonio Gates.

As hard as it is to say good bye to our favorite players, it'll be unimaginably hard to say goodbye to our beloved team if Dean Spanos gets his way. This could very well be the final game played by the San Diego Chargers, and it makes me sad to think about.

I'll be attending this game in person. It was supposed to just be seeing my favorite team play in the city I live. But now it has a whole new meaning. I sure hope this isn't the last game played by the San Diego Chargers, but it'll be tough not to watch this game with that sense of finality in the back of my mind.
