Speaking with multiple folks around NFL, sounds like Mike McCoy is coaching his final game for @Chargers. We'll see. @NFLonFOX

Take it from someone who used to work with Alex Marvez, he's not usually wrong about these things. The guy double-checks and triple-checks stories, so there's a good chance this one pans out the way he says it does.
I've been saying this for a few days now, but I think Mike McCoy had a chance to save his job as head coach of the San Diego Chargers. However, to save it, I think he needs to pull off a convincing upset win over the Denver Broncos on the road on Sunday. Without that, he's likely toast.
I can't see a scenario where Frank Reich, who came to the Chargers along with Ken Whisenhunt and Mike McCoy, stays with the organization if McCoy goes. John Pagano escaped the firings when Norv Turner and A.J. Smith were given the boot, so he's got a chance of keeping his job this time around as well.
