In Week 1, optimism was running high. San Diego Chargers fans picked the Bolts to top the Detroit Lions 24-22. Meanwhile, Lions fans had the lions winning by a score of 27-20.

Now, I'm going to be honest with you. I'm very competitive. When I look at those SB Nation blog standings and see that we're 8th, missing the spread by just 3.24 points last week, I get antsy. I want to be better than 8th. I want to be able to definitively tell the other blogs, every week, that our opinions are more right than theirs and the proof is that we pick games better than they do.
