Broken Tackles Per Touch: Predictive Statistic? - rotonate
What’s this? A .484 R-squared value with no excluded outliers? Broken tackles per touch seems to have some serious predictive power. The only outlier that I could quickly pinpoint was Forte’s 14.1 % in 2011. His BT% since 2010 are 5.2, 14.1, 5.1, 6.6, and 8.2. The 14.1 BT% is uncharacteristic of Forte, excluding his 2011 yields an R-squared of 0.599!

2015 DVOA Projections - Aaron Schatz
Kansas City gained 0.5 mean wins because I didn't credit them in the book simulation for the return of Eric Berry, plus the age-related variables like some of the other changes in their expected starting lineup.

Betting preview: San Diego Chargers - Dave Tuley & Erin Rynning
hen San Diego's over/under was 8.5 wins, I was leaning to the under, but now that it's dipped down to 8, I think the over is the play. An 8-8 season would be a push, and the Chargers look more likely to repeat their 9-7 record from last year than to dip to 7-9 or worse.

Ranking all 32 NFL starting QBs - Steve Palazzolo
Rivers bounced back nice from a subpar 2012 season to re-establish himself as one of the league’s best in 2013. He continued that roll early in 2014 before grading at -3.3 over his last eight games of the year, but his body of work keeps him solidly in Tier 2. Overall, he’s one of the league’s best when throwing to the intermediate level, and he handles pressure better than most.
