At times, Fluker appears less advanced than the starter he replaced about 20 days ago, the injured Johnnie Troutman. But Fluker's superior physical gifts flashed on one inside rush Saturday. Because he used his long arms and powerful hands to displace one defender fast, he had time to turn upfield to seal off a second defender. He looked better than Troutman on that one.

One Area Mike McCoy is Focused on Improving - Ricky Henne
"We’ve got to clean up the running game," the head coach said. "That wasn’t efficient enough.   Too many minus plays. So that’s something we’ll work a lot on this week moving forward to get back to where we need to run the ball efficiently and give the backs a chance to not have the minus plays because it’s tough as a play caller. We lived in 3rd-and-long in three of the first four series of the game, so we’ve got to stay out of that."
