Predict the Winner: Chargers at Cardinals (Preseason)

The winner of a preseason game doesn't matter, but that won't stop us from predicting the winner anyway

Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports

You know what's cool? Fun is cool. It's also fun!

We're trying out this new thing, where we (as a blog community) will be making predictions about the upcoming San Diego Chargers game and then recapping to see if we're better at predicting the outcome of games than the other blogs that we're up against.

During the preseason, this is going to seem dumb. Who cares how many points our 3rd team scores against the Arizona Cardinals' 3rd team? And it is dumb! But that doesn't mean that we shouldn't try to crush Revenge of the Birds as a way to try and assert our dominance and also to learn/play with this prediction tool before the regular season gets here.

Some things to keep in mind here:

  • Melvin Gordon will likely get a ton of carries and the first team offensive line will likely get a bunch of snaps together.
  • Philip Rivers should be looking to get Ladarius Green involved in the offense this week.
  • Chris Johnson, who is recovering from a gunshot wound and once game himself the nickname "Cop Speed", may play his first game for the Cardinals as their starting RB.

So, with that in mind, please make your prediction below:
