San Diego Chargers Training Camp Notes: August 15, 2015

Let's all over-evaluate talent in practice (again) as we break down the San Diego Chargers Training Camp today.

Jake Roth-USA TODAY Sports

The Chargers were back out at practice today and nothing really new on the injury front, though Jason Verrett had a rest day.

Donald Brown, Sean Lissemore and Steve Williams all had jerseys on but did not practice. Brown was getting in work on the side field away from the team.

The big stories of the first practice back was who would fill the shoes of Tourek Williams and Johnnie Troutman after receiving word that they would both be out for a significant amount of time. Answer to the first part of the question? Kyle Emanuel is that guy.

As for Johnnie Troutman, Jeremiah Sirles is taking over his second team Right Guard slot and filling Sirles' old role at Right Tackle is Craig Watts.

Craig Watts looked comfortable at Right Tackle too.

Other news and notes:

Interesting quote from McCoy before practice.

This is still news.

Joe Barksdale is always trying to learn and its contagious.

McCoy was rotating Nose Tackles today with Lissemore still out.

Jimmy Wilson also got a lot of first team snaps as the third Safety on the field.

Ladarius Green is having a quiet camp much like the first preseason game.

Jacoby Jones makes the best out of every practice.
