Weddle went to the media lectern Tuesday at Chargers Park for the first time this year, and by the time he was done cuffing around Chargers "upper management" for how it handled his contract situation, well, Gwynn, and Hoffman came to mind, along with whispers of L.T.-A.J.-Norv.

Bolts Give Former Charger a Taste of Scouting - Ricky Henne
Ronney Jenkins spent three seasons with the Chargers from 2000-02, lighting up the league as one of the top returners in the game.  In fact, he is the team’s all-team leader for single season kickoff returns (67), yards (1,541) and touchdowns (2).  As such, a framed photo of him in action is proudly displayed nearby the Chargers’ locker room. Now, the Bolts are giving him a chance to experience life as a scout as part of the Nunn-Wooten Scouting Fellowship.

Fluker worked at guard in a few practices, a first for him. Though more comfortable at tackle, he said he is ready to play guard if needed. He likes being closer to his opponent, saying it plays to one of his strengths. "I can pound them," he said.

"It’s been a change of worlds," Attaochu said.  "Being a part of the whole offseason program, knowing the flow of practice, knowing the playbook to a T and working with your teammates; it’s been a world of a difference.  It’s been a lot of fun.  The guys really came together on defense and that’s really important."
