Today is the start of Mini Camp. There's good news and bad news in that.
The good news is that for the next three day (maybe...) we'll get news and notes and videos and quotes from the San Diego Chargers. Eric Weddle will be in attendance, and probably talking to the media, as will Antonio Gates. So, maybe expect some bombs to be dropped.
The bad news, in addition to the fact that McCoy gave the team the third day of Mini Camp off last year and might do it again this year, is that this is also the last bit of Chargers activities until Training Camp, which is more than a month away.
You know the saying about how the NFL in now a year-round league? That's not entirely true. The next month is about as dead as the month after the Super Bowl, and that will be miserable.
So, enjoy it while you can! Keep your eye on the Twitters and post any interesting Chargers-related stuff in the comments below. Or, you know, just talk about the team and roster.
