Open Thread: 2015 NFL Draft, Day 3 (Rds 4-7)

After taking a running back, an inside linebacker, and a cornerback...who will the San Diego Chargers pick today?

Jake Roth-USA TODAY Sports

Tom Telesco and Mike McCoy, who are at the very least creating waves of controversy across the NFL Draft as media members agree to either love or hate their current draft class, seem very pleased with the guys they have brought in:

The festivities kick off at 9am PT today, starting with pick #100. The San Diego Chargers previously held pick #117, but it was part of the package sent to the San Francisco 49ers to move up and select Melvin Gordon.

2015 NFL Draft picks owned by the Chargers today, before any more trades happen, include #153 (5th) and #192 (6th). The team's 7th round pick belongs to the Dallas Cowboys for the Sean Lissemore trade that happened about two years ago.

Many are still hoping that the team drafts an offensive guard or offensive tackle that can compete for a starting job in his rookie season, as well as a pass-rushing OLB that can possibly start if Melvin Ingram and Jerry Attaochu face the same injury troubles that they have in their careers so far. Unfortunately, the chances of finding those things in these late rounds is slim.
