Today is the home opener at PETCO Park for the San Diego Padres. The game started about 20 minutes ago. You should be excited for this game and this season. You should be watching. Not just for the revamped roster full of stars and the first semblance of excitement to come from the lovable Friars, but because they just proved that they're able to compete with one of the best teams in the league (the Dodgers) and now they get to beat up on one of the worst (the Giants).
