Passed Fouts with the first of two TD passes Week 2 in Cincinnati to become the Chargers’ all-time leader.  He also moved passed Sonny Jurgensen into 14th all-time in NFL history with 256 touchdowns thrown.

As mentioned above, QB Philip Rivers (-2.4) faced a barrage and just didn’t have the answer. Pressured on 20 of his 39 dropbacks, he completed five of 16 attempts for 47 yards, a pick, and was sacked four times. Rivers’ passer rating fell from 93.1 when not pressured to 14.6 with the rush getting to him. Coming off of his best game of the year last week against Jacksonville, this wasn’t the follow up Chargers fans had hoped for.

The 26-year-old was immobilized Sunday on a stretcher and carted off the field during a seven-minute stoppage to the game. There were early indicators that Inman would be OK. He had feeling in his extremities, and initial testing at a local hospital came back negative, McCoy had said following a 17-3 loss. Inman added Monday that he never lost consciousness during the ordeal.
