Chargers bring back familiar face, sign WR Vincent Brown

The Chargers are losing WR's as fast as they have been losing linemen this season. To help pick up the slack the team dipped into the free agent pool and brought back Vincent Brown

San Diego worked out 2 familiar faces today in Austin Pettis and Vincent Brown. The team had both Stevie Johnson and Dontrelle Inman suffer injuries on Sunday. Add to that Malcom Floyd who is recovering from a torn labrum and the only two fully healthy WR's on the team right now are Javontee Herndon, who is also the primary kick and punt returner, and rookie free agent Tyrell Williams.

The team has decided to re-sign Vincent Brown. Brown last played for the Chargers during the 2013 season and spent time with both the Oakland Raiders and Indianapolis Colts.

It's as if the team is trolling Philip Rivers at this point. "Oh, you're left with only young UDFA's or old injured WR's to throw too? Lets bring back that WR that was never more than mediocre for us and you can throw to him too. Happy Birthday."
