OPEN THREAD: Chargers trail Broncos 17-3 at halftime

The San Diego Chargers have been unable to get anything going against the tough Denver Broncos defense in the first half of this one.

The San Diego Chargers defense is playing kind of okay!

That was me trying to be positive. The offense has been a train wreck, it's a minor miracle that they were able to score 3 points, but somehow they've kept the Denver Broncos from blowing them out by holding them to just one offensive touchdown and one field goal (the other touchdown was off of a pick-six by the Broncos' defense).

The Chargers aren't technically out of this one yet, but they do definitely look overmatched by the Broncos. Major injuries to Dontrelle Inman and Brandon Flowers haven't helped matters, and the offensive line continues to be a "work in progress" due to a bevy of health issues.

If Mike McCoy is hoping to win this game and convince Chargers fans that he would be worth giving another year/shot to, he's going to have to coach better than he has to this point.
