Jason Verrett had talked to Jon Gruden about picking off the Bears on this route during the week. He made good on his prediction. It was not a good throw by Jay Cutler, but that's normal for him and Verrett was sitting on the route. This was as easy of a play as you are going to get for a result this positive.
The real gem here, though, is that celebration by Philip Rivers and John Pagano. I don't know what that dance is, but it's incredible. Free up some time in your calendar to watch it over and over and over again tomorrow because boy is it worth it. Aside from the near-Hall of Fame caliber resume, this is why you just can't help but love Rivers.
