Inactives: San Diego Chargers getting starters back vs. Kansas City Chiefs

Corey Liuget, Manti Te'o, D.J. Fluker, and others are back for the Chargers against the Chiefs.

Well, if you are still in the business of hoping for San Diego Chargers victories, I suppose you have to consider today's inactive list a positive.

The only "surprise" inactive is Kavell Conner. The return of Manti Te'o could explain this, but you have to wonder why Joe Mays is active (h/t John Gennaro for reminding me that Mays is even on the roster). Conner has been one of the few bright spots for the Chargers defense this year, so of course they took him off the active roster at the earliest opportunity. Don't you just love this coaching staff?

The biggest surprise active player has to be D.J. Fluker. Five days after suffering another concussion and in the middle of a lost season, he'll be playing guard for the Chargers. That's risky at best and a reasonable person could call it negligent. But I guess Fluker gives this team the best chance of winning a meaningless game. Don't you just love this coaching staff?

Even with most of their starters back, does anyone think the Chargers are going to win today?
