The Chargers have reportedly promoted WR Tyrell Williams from the practice squad to the active roster to help fill the shortage of WR's with Malcom Floyd out for the foreseeable future. After Floyd went down in the Chargers last game, Philip Rivers only had Stevie Johnson, Javontee Herndon, and Dontrelle Inman to throw too.

Williams showed some promise in preseason hauling in 10 receptions for 137 yards including a 63 yard catch and run for a touchdown.

With the season basically out of reach at this point, I am glad to see the team bringing up some of their young talent to see what they have for next season, because at this point losing is actually winning.
