We're going to do something fun and different tonight, and it's something people have been asking me to do for a long time.
First, an apology. I know I haven't been doing Gennaroly Speaking this year. To be completely honest with you, I've been working 60+ hours a week and there's always traffic when I get home (which is fairly late). By time I get home, I usually don't want to perform for an hour, and I also want to avoid sitting in traffic and showing up late to a scheduled show.
I'm trying to find solutions to the whole thing, but I haven't yet. For one week, at least, I have a reason to bring it back.
I did not see the San Diego Chargers beat the Cleveland Browns. Despite setting my DVR to record it, the game is not on my DVR. So, either the DVR malfunctioned or the people who were house-sitting deleted it from my DVR (you can't protect me forever, mom!).
I've seen two plays total, I think, from seeing the occasional highlight on ESPN. So, now that we're passed midnight after the Monday night game and can actually do it, tonight I am going to watch the game in its entirety and you're going to get the chance to watch me watching it for the first time.
That's right. The webcam will be on, the beer will be flowing, and I'll be taking questions while trying to figure out what went wrong/right in the Chargers 30-27 win over the Browns. I hope you join me! The whole thing should, in theory, be kicking off at about 7pm tonight.
