Davis beat the odds to make the Chargers' roster as a rookie free agent. He didn't play in the first four games of the 2014 season and was used sparingly in the next four. In the second half of the season, though, Davis served as the Chargers' kickoff returner and saw more action at cornerback, particularly as the slot corner.
