Regrading the 2014 NFL draft - Mel Kiper Jr. (Insider)
The grade sinks a bit from where it was, but on a team that really didn't have many pressing needs, the pick of Jason Verrett hit my top need (CB) and was a home run early on. Unfortunately, Verrett ended up on injured reserve and didn't play a snap after Week 8. Before that, he was playing as well or better than any rookie CB, and at draft time I pointed out he was a nice get a few slots ahead of the Broncos, who could have used a more "ready" talent at the position and instead ended up with Bradley Roby.

Stadium solution requires pros, not task force - Len Simon (UT$)
San Diego needs to hire a first-class team of paid professionals working eight, 10 or 12 hours a day to analyze the issues, look for solutions, discuss the matter with city officials, the Chargers and whomever else they choose, and recommend the very best solution in a few months.

Sharp Football Analysis
The Patriots ratio of 187 plays to 1 fumble is the BEST of ANY team in the NFL for ANY 5 year span of time over the last 25 years. Not was it just the best, it wasn’t close.
