From top to bottom, the Chargers were dominant in their win against the Buffalo Bills. The win on Sunday has just added to the legitimacy of the Chargers and is bolstering the reputation.

With reputation comes recognition. Just as Philip Rivers was awarded the FedEx Air Player of the Week award for his dissection of the Seahawks and Antonio Gates was the AFC Offensive Player of the Week due to his three TD performance, the Chargers boast another representative of an award. After a six tackle, one sack, one forced fumble and an intentional grounding for a safety performance against the Bills, Corey Liuget has been award as the AFC Defensive Player of the Week!

For the first time since Donald Butler won it in 2012, the Chargers now boast a defensive player with this recognition. Seen as many as one of the leaders of the Chargers defense, through the play behind Liuget and Co. have helped the Chargers to a tenth ranked defense.

Congratulations to Corey Liuget, there are few that deserve it as he does!
