Wednesday Injury Report: San Diego Chargers at Buffalo Bills

Practice and injury reports for the San Diego Chargers as they head into their Week 3 matchup against the Buffalo Bills.

Ezra Shaw

Good news Chargers fans! It looks like Jahleel Addae is now practicing, and could be on track to returning soon. We'll continue to monitor his status throughout the week, as the sophomore safety's return should help boost a secondary that is already missing Brandon Flowers with a groin injury.

Antonio Gates also missed practice today, but the team could just be giving him the day off after he showed no signs of hamstring issues against the Seahawks.

Three OLBs did not participate in practice today, with Dwight Freeney missing practice with a non-injury related issue, while Melvin Ingram and Jerry Attaochu both were held out with hamstring injuries. We'll wait to see how their participation levels change by Friday before speculating whether any of them will be missing this Sunday's game against the Bills.

Ryan Mathews will be out 4-5 weeks with a sprained MCL.
