Injury Report: Seattle Seahawks at San Diego Chargers

The San Diego Chargers may be without three of their best defensive players when they welcome the defending Super Bowl Champion Seattle Seahawks to town on Sunday.

San Diego Chargers

Jahleel Addae, S (hamstring)
Chris Davis, CB (ankle)

Brandon Flowers, CB (groin)
Melvin Ingram, LB (hamstring)

Keenan Allen, WR (ribs)
D.J. Fluker, T (knee / ankle)
Antonio Gates, TE (hamstring)
Sean Lissemore, DT (ankle)
Corey Liuget, DE (ankle)

Flowers, Addae, and Ingram and all crucial to the success of the Chargers on Sunday. Let's hope that their lower-body injuries start feeling better between now and kick off on Sunday.

I expect all of those probable guys to play, but some of them will need to have good games. That's hard to do when you're fighting through injury.

Seattle Seahawks

Christine Michael, RB (hamstring)
Kevin Pierre-Louis, LB (hamstring)
Tharold Simon, CB (knee)

Cooper Helfet, TE (knee)

I, for one, will be happy to miss Christine Michael. He's exactly the type of RB (powerful and fast) that can break some tackles and give the San Diego defense some trouble. I'm not sure how big of a deal Simon not playing is, but I can't imagine it's one that the deep Seattle defense can't overcome.
